Prepare your drawing

Start with a supported import or draw manually. Arrange areas, doors and useful elements, then add clear names. Keep walkable aisles open and review the layout at the scale visitors will use on a phone.

A practical example

The live demo contains two connected wings and 36 destinations. Choose a destination and use Guide me there to see the animated route. It uses the same viewer and routing implementation as Pro, with sample data; trying it does not consume your account's trial or credits.

Review before publishing

Test the 3D view on desktop and mobile. Inspect labels, doors, colours, the starting point and destination routes. Wayfinder follows the saved layout, so incorrect obstacles or openings can produce an incorrect or missing route. It is not an emergency evacuation system.

What to expect

Wayfinder is a Pro feature. Furniture and website embedding are available on Starter and Pro; custom logo branding is Pro. Free has private previews and one optional, watermarked 72-hour public trial. Paid publication remains subject to your active-link allowance.

Common questions

Can I embed the floorplan on my website?

Starter and Pro support website embedding. Free does not. Public access is checked on the server; after trial expiry the link becomes unavailable while the owner can still edit and preview privately. A paid plan can reactivate the existing URL, subject to publishing limits.

Build3D Floorplans uses drawing analysis and OCR, not a trained generative AI model. It reconstructs supported geometry for you to review. It does not certify measurements or replace a construction survey.

Your floorplan stays private until you explicitly publish it. A public 3D viewer sends geometry to the visitor's browser; no web viewer can prevent screenshots or guarantee copy protection.
